Each one of the images is the icon of an iPhone applications available in the iTunes App Store.
Think of it as a very large visual catalog.

How many iPhone applications are there? Are there really 10,000 applications available for the iPhone?
A:
Our last count was 12982 iPhone Apps as of Dec 31 '08.

I found an applicaiton that I think I'd like to put on my iPhone. How do I download and install the application?
A:
You can click on any of the images and you will be taken right to the application in the iTunes App Store where you can download and install the application.
Q:
Hey! My application used to be at such-and-such location, now it isn't there anymore. What happened to it?
A:
The images get reshuffled every now and again. Your application is still in the collage, just not where it used to be.
Q:
OK, but some apps are always in the same place. What's up with that? How come they don't get shuffled off?
A:
We feature some of the iPhone Apps in the collage and others have been sponsored by their owner/developer. They have "stickiness" and will appear in the same
place during their featured or sponsorship run.
Q:
Why are some iPhone Applications larger than others?
A:
iPhone Apps that are featured or sponsored may appear at different sizes. Typically, these apps also have more information available when
you roll over the icon with your mouse.

A:
